- It's 1 lb of chicken breast.
- It's 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
- It's 1 tbsp of Sake or Rice wine.
- You need 1 tbsp of ginger.
- You need 1/2 cup of corn starch.
- It's 1/2 of vegetable oil.
- It's 2/3 cup of orange juice.
- You need 1/3 cup of orange marmalade.
- It's 2 tbsp of corn starch.
- Prepare 1 tsp of salt ( add more if needed).
- It's 1/2 of green onion.
Orange Chicken instructions
- Cut chicken breast into medium sized pieces.
- Use a bowl add chicken ,soy sauce,ginger and sake or rice wine let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Transfer the marinated chicken breasts in a plate and lightly dust each piece with corn starch.
- Meanwhile heat up a pot with vegetable oil until hot (over medium heat).
- Fry chicken breasts until golden brown the set aside when finished.
- In a separate pan add orange juice , orange marmalade,2 teaspoons of corn starch and salt (over medium heat).
- Stir constantly to prevent from clumping when the sauce thickens and starts bubbling add the chicken and your done.
- Last chop green onion to give it a taste and sprinkle it on the chicken this can be served with steamed rice.
